Awakening 21: Double Dog Dare You
In my last post I threw out a double dog dare for people to join me in reading scripture this year. To be honest I wasn’t expecting what happened next. God threw me a double dog dare and spoke to my heart about joining the Awakening 21 Day Fast. If you know me well then you know that fasting has not been something that is very apparent in my life. After I got over the initial fear and nervousness of doing the fast, I was able to see how God wants to use this to answer my prayer. I have been asking for God to give me more of a hunger for His Word. I was hoping that He would just grant that prayer without any effort from me but that’s not typically how God works in my life. So here I go chasing a lion down that I never expected.
