Sunday Night Brain Dump
Sunday, 30th August 2009
As we establish the new culture at Five Stones Church I thought that it would be good for me to process what I see take place each and every Sunday. Since this is me down-loading there will be no order at all to my thought process, which should be no surprise to those of you that know me.
- Completely overwhelmed with the amount of those volunteering each and every morning. 175 people were in our volunteer service this morning…..are you kidding me?
- Did Ralph really introduce the word Stoneology? Is that even a word?
- Struggled with my emotions today. So excited about our soft launch and yet so grieved over the hurt our brothers and sisters are feeling at Grace Community Church next door.
- Feel so blessed to be able to do this with some of my best friends.
- Thought we could of used a little more cow bell out of Rick this morning!
- Did we take an offering? I heard that can be pretty important for a new church to do.
- Overwhelmed with how the Summit Leaders are trying to help me with my double duties.
- Praying for two Leaders to do the Master teaching in the Summit on Sunday morning. Just know that God is going to provide.
- Shout out to our High School Students at Summit…hang in there we have big plans for you guys.
- Thought I was in a sauna for the first hour of setup. The good news is that I think my skin looked refreshed after the fact.
- Blown away that God provided us $1,700.00 to give to the family of the hurt teenager at Grace Community. Amazing how Big our God is.
- Looking for a few volunteers each week to go to the first service and then help me process the message in our Green Room before the next service.
- Have already heard from several people that have taken some difficult first steps today following the message.
- The Big Idea today: Following Christ is about steps, not leaps.
- Honored to be apart of Carmel Baptist. So thankful for their vision.
- Caught a family cleaning the gym floors on their hands and knees just before our lunch. I Love catching leaders serving.
- After watching our leaders serve today it reminded me that the world see us on the first mile but they see Christ on the second mile.
- Heard we had like 60 children in the Discover Factory.
- Just found out that two children responded to God’s call of salvation tonight at their house. Time to celebrate!
- Got to take my daughter shopping after the services for some quality time together.
- Starting a new quiet time process tom. morning. Going to be going through the daily readings on http://www.youversion.com/ my name on that site is Kingme. I think you can read my posts from my QT.
- Getting ready to go prepare to teach four times this week at Windy Gap. Time for some rest.
- Much love from the King Family!

Greg-I’m so proud of you and excited about what the Lord is going to do through you at Five Stones. ‘Now that I am praying for you.

Isn’t it cool how the small things can be just as wondrous as the big things
Greg!
This is Amazing what God is able to do for His Kingdom and Glory. The foundations can never be shaken.
